The Customs Union Commission adopted the Unified mark of product circulation on the market of the Member States of the Customs Union (hereinafter - a Unified mark) by decision from 15.07.2011 № 711 "On the Unified mark of product circulation on the market of the Member States of the Customs Union".
The Unified mark has been designed in accordance with international agreements between the Governments of the States - members of the Eurasian Economic Community. The Unified mark indicates that the marked them products was held all conformity assessment procedures (certification or declaration) set in the technical regulations of the Customs Union (hereinafter - TS) and meets the requirements of all technical regulations CU applicable to these products.
Image of a Unified mark is a combination of three stylized letters "E", "A" and "C". The resulting word «EAC» means an EurAsian Conformity. The size of a Unified mark is specified by the manufacturer, a person authorized by the manufacturer, importer (supplier) received the right to use it. The height of the mark shall be not less than 5 mm. A Unified mark can be carried out by any method giving it a crisp and clear image during the lifetime of the product.
Manufacturers, authorized by the manufacturer persons, the importers (suppliers) of product have the right marking it a unified mark if all the technical regulations confirmation procedures of compliance (certification or declaration) established by the CU have finished in any of the countries of the CU, which must be confirmed by the documents provided for these forms of assessment.
A unified mark is applied to each unit of production, packaging or accompanying documentation. Image it should be one color and contrast with the color of the surface to which applied. The place of application is established directly by the technical regulations CU.
